This lightweight formula is infused with caffeine to combat free radical damage and bisabolol to calm and soothe the skin. SPF 45 helps absorb and filter UVB rays keeping your skin protected during sun exposure.

One of the better mineral sunscreens
This sunscreen rubs in well, very lightly scented, and feels satiny. It does still leave a white cast though, hence the 4 stars but otherwise great mineral sunscreen.

Absorbs Well. Doesn't Leave White Tint on Darker Skin.
I'm a woman of color and this product does not leave a grey/white tinge after application which I like. It does make my skin appear "shiny" after application, but I prefer this afterglow. The consistency is cream like and less on the liquid side, but it applies and absorbs well over other products. It does not leave my skin dry or irritated after application. It doesn't have a chemical smell, but there is a very faint smell that isn't powerful or offense in my opinion.

Something's changed
I've been using this sunblock for years and this time when I re-ordered, i noticed a couple of things. 1) they changed the regular squeeze bottle into a cap dispenser, which actually made the size of the container smaller so you're paying the same price for a smaller amount. 2) it does not feel as "weight-less" as the previous version. The product feels thicker and harder to spread evenly. i really have to work the product in and make sure it's even, otherwise i'll see white streaks. Quite disappointed and will be looking for alternatives.

New Formula Gave Me a Chemical Burn!
I've been using this sunscreen for the past 6 years and loved it because I have very oily skin, this was lightweight, absorbed like a moisturizer, and worked well under makeup. I bought a new tube in December and noticed the packaging had changed but didn't know the formula had changed with it. The first time I used it was 4 weeks ago before going on a 2-hour bike ride. Woke up the following morning with a bright red, burning, itching rash on my face and neck. It wasn't like a normal sunburn and I thought it was some kind of sun reaction combined with the heat and humidity. It took almost a week to heal. The next time I used it to go to the grocery store in the early morning and was only in the sun briefly. That night, the burning, itching rash returned again! I didn't know what it was in my skincare routine that was causing the problem but I figured I must have developed an allergy to something. Things started to get better and once again I applied this sunscreen to my face, neck, and chest this time, just to go to the mailbox. I had avoided the sun entirely for several days and wanted my skin protected because it wasn't completely healed yet. By morning, the burning, itching rash was back but it was also on my chest. That's when it clicked it had to be the sunscreen. The 2 other occasions I hadn't used it on my chest. Remembering how the package had changed, I wondered if the ingredients did too. Searching the internet, I found the ingredient label for the previous formula and compared it to this new formula. The old formula had only 17 ingredients, this new formula has at least 39 ingredients!!! Then I found the reviews on the PCA website of other people complaining about the same thing. I have also used other PCA products over the years: cleanser, acne gel, eye cream, lip treatment - but now I no longer trust them as a brand. They have lost a customer for life! I am so upset with what this has done to my skin for the past 3 weeks, this should come with a warning label!
