PCA Skin Smoothing Toner (formerly Smoothing Toner pHaze 23) purifies pores and removes dead skin cells for a clear, radiant complexion. Formulated with lactic and citric acids to promote clarity and smoothness while aloe calms and soothes. Ideal for use after cleansing to remove traces of dirt, oil and makeup, and before moisturizing to prepare the skin for treatment.
After cleansing with appropriate PCA Skin cleanser, moisten a cotton pad with a small amount of toner and apply in upward and outward strokes over the face and neck. Use once daily or as needed.

I'm loving it
I had A really bad breakout due to some bad skin care products. I switched To pca problem skin cleanser and this after and my skin is so soft and healing really quickly from the horrible breakout. It is active so there is a small sting especially on open comedones but it isn't alcohol based. It's the exfoliation of lactic acid. I may only use this once a day at night though as it is a strong exfoliation and I believe You shouldn't overdo it with that. I'm happy I gave This a try. It's expensive but good skin is worth the investment in my opinion.

Not for my sensitive skin
Unfortunately I did not love this product as I thought I would. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and this toner burned and caused irritation and redness. The ingredients in this product great for exfoliation, the formula just didn't work for me. Love PCA's other products, just not this one. May try the Noursihing Toner instead next time.

love this product.
I only use this about two to three times a week. It always clears up clogged pores and any tiny bit of acne I am starting to get. It may take time for your skin to get use to it, but I have been using it for about four years and I love it. One bottle can easily last me six months to a year.

I love PCA products and wanted to give this toner a shot since I like the nutrient toner so much. It brings more than the nutrient toner for the same price and I thought it would help with my acne scars. Unfortunately it's too harsh for me; it dried out my skin and was painful to put on. I tried pushing through the stinging but was afraid I'd damage my skin. It also didn't leave my skin looking as refreshed/glowing as the nutrient toner. I would maybe recommend this to someone with not as sensitive skin. But no love lost to PCA- returning this and going back to nutrient toner!

works well for sensitive/oily skin
At first when trying this product it burned/tingled a bit so I was not enjoying it as much BUT the results were AMAZING. It wasn't until later I discovered that the tingling/burning sensation was because it was correcting/working its magic on my congested skin. It burns a little and leaves skin red but only for a few seconds. It has no alcohol, so its just the lactic acid doing its thing. I recommend for anyone who wants to get rid of their acne/scars/pores.

Good toner for acne prone skin
This toner is great for my acne prone, combination skin. I use it morning and night without issue. I took away one star because it does sting a little when using. After using for a year, it still stings when I use it. I am used to it now, but it could cause others to stop using. Still, this is the only toner I use and for good reason.

Perfect gentle toner
I have been using PCA and Skinceutical products for my adult hormonal acne at the recommendation of my aesthetician for two years now and love what both brands have done to heal my complexion concerns. The PCA toner does a wonderful job of removing residue, hydrating and keeping my skin in balance. It is very gentle and does not make my skin burn when I use it. Great Toner
This toner has done wonders for my skin. It helps with discoloration and it doesn't dry my skin out. It does however, give you a tingly itchy feeling but I assume that's from the lactic acid. I will continue to purchase.
