best for oil skin only
this serum is actually a thick creamy gel. it does have alcohol in it, and feels cooling, but would not really be appropriate for dry or sensitive skin. the scent is herbal, a slight tinge of alcohol aroma. in spite of the ingredients, it does not smell of peppermint or citrus. this serum leaves a matte finish.

I bought this product after I did my PCA peel. What a difference. It made my skin soft and glowing. I was skeptical to use this product until I used the sample kit. Effective, but very irritating to my skin
I was excited to add this serum to my routine, and disappointed when it immediately caused irritation and flaking. Contains a prominent amount of peppermint oil (enough that it's easy to smell), which may be to blame. Not sure if it's the peppermint oil, the other active ingredients, or the fact that I also use a retinol cream, but my face just couldn't tolerate this. Also used this serum on my neck and decollete - I'm pretty religious about wearing sunscreen on my face, but not as careful about my neck and chest. Noticed a definite lightening of freckles/spots on my chest after using this. If you have sun damage, this is probably a great option. But if you're sensitive or prone to irritation, it may be a problem.
