PCA Skin ReBalance features skin-calming ingredients to repair damage to your complexion caused by everyday stress, chemical peels or facial laser treatments. Its rejuvenating formula utilizes primrose and borage oils to soothe redness and diminish irritation. Vitamin B5 and niacinamide hydrate and promote a clear appearance. May also be used as a nightly treatment to keep your moisture levels balanced.
After cleansing and toning, apply sparingly and allow to penetrate. May be used day or night, following with appropriate PCA Skin sunblock for daytime use.

Dries out my skin
As some one with sensitive skin that has a lot of red in it, I had really high hopes for this cream. Unfortunately, from the first time I put it on I could feel it drying out my skin. Literally within minutes. I wake up with dry spots and tight skin, I look dehydrated. It is also making me breakout in little whiteheads. I regret spending so much on a moisturizer that does exactly the opposite.

I had to try it myself
At 24 years old with that has and adult acne come back with vengeance, I have been on the quest to find a moisturizer that will help my extremely temperamental and problematic skin. I saw the reviews and ingredients and knew it wouldn't hurt to try. A few uses in and I'm already seeing a difference. My skin has a nice healthy glow to it, and my breakouts are tame. If I use this in the morning prior to spending hours with a face covering on, it practically acts as a guard so the ends of my mask don't cause irritation on my cheeks (where my acne is the worst) I can truly feel this is healing my skin. The only fault I can find is the seal is very difficult to remove upon opening the jar.

VERY underwhelming product
This was my first purchase from PCA and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. I've been dealing with a new wave of hormonal acne for a few months and was been looking for a gel texture moisturizer to hydrate my skin during the day. The acne treatments I've been using have dried out my skin pretty severely so when I saw that this was designed to sooth irritated skin and the very high reviews I was excited to try it out. If I use this on its own or preferably with a face oil (I've been using Sunday Riley UFO) my skin is fine, not the most hydrated it could be but pretty good for daily wear. BUT if I try to use this with a prescription benzoyl peroxide or dapsone my face tightens and dries out in a matter of minutes and I experience a burning sensation. I also find that if I try to put a thicker moisturizer on top to try and counteract it's drying/irritating effects it immediately pills and I'm left with thick globs of product around my face that don't absorb, rendering my entire routine pretty useless. I'd give this product 3 stars but it's ridiculously pricey for not very much product and very underwhelming results. I think this would work well for people with oily skin, but otherwise I think there are much better gel moisturizers out there.
