PCA Skin Nutrient Toner (formerly Nutrient Toner - pHaze 5) features a revitalizing combination of vitamins, enzymes and amino acids to nourish the skin while preparing it for further treatment. It also contains alpha hydroxy acids, formulated to help refine pores and remove superficial dead skin cells, reducing your skin's risk of blemishes and other impurities.
After cleansing with appropriate cleanser, moisten a cotton pad with a small amount and apply in upward and outward strokes over the face and neck. Use once daily or as needed.

Great, soothing toner
This is a great toner that I use in combination with other PCA Skin products. This is the only product in my skincare routine that has a scent, but I don't mind it one bit. It smells like cinnamon and spices without being overpowering. Once it absorbs into the skin, the scent disappears. It's gentle, but I can tell that it's doing good work for my skin.

PCA Skin Nutrient Toner
Why did I make this purchase? I decided on this purchase because my beloved Glycolic Facial Tonic seems no longer to be available from either DermStore, where I had a subscription for auto-delivery of the item, nor from the manufacturer. This is a heartbreak, but such things seem to be happening in the face of economic challenges as well as manufacturing issues (ingredients availability, equipment cleaning resources, etc.). I decided to make a test of this as my basic/daily acid step in lieu of that preferred item. What was I hoping for in this product? What I was looking for in this item was an under-10 pct. acid for nightly use that would be strong enough to produce results while not being so aggressive as to result in undue irritation. What was my experience? I have found it to be a good substitute. While a bit more aggressive than my favorite, having tested it for several weeks I am satisfied with the results and have placed it on auto-delivery . Would I recommend this product to someone else? Yes, with a cautionary note: This is not an acid for the inexperienced. There is a lovely scent to it - which might lull you into carelessness - but also a sting. Keep it away from your eyes and probably away from your neck! Will I purchase this product again? Yes, it's already on my auto-delivery .

My Skin Loves This!
I normally don't use a toner in my skincare routine but found I needed something extra to help my skin. I love how this makes my skin feel. Refreshed and smooth. I did notice that I have to use a gentle facial wash (no other actives) if I'm using this as a next step, or my face will sting and get red. There is a specific smell to it as well but once I layer on my other products it tends to fade away.

It would leave my skin sticky. I was really excited about it especially after reading its description, but it wasn't worth it. I just don't think it did the job for me - I liked other PCA products though.
