PCA Skin Collagen Hydrator utilizes a combination of shea butter and hyaluronic acid to rehydrate your dry or mature skin. A blend of emollients and wheat protein softens the texture of your complexion to improve moisture retention. Sweet almond oil smooths the surface of your skin to firm, condition and balance your natural pH levels.
Smooth onto skin after toning and reapply as needed. An excellent nighttime cream, but may be used anytime.

Made me break out
I bought this cream to replace my DHC extra night time moisture, as I was looking for something lighter to use in the summer and during the day. I applied a thin layer at night and woke up to three angry red under-the-skin pimples. I applied it to my face for 3 more nights, and kept breaking out, so I stopped using it for a day and all of the blemishes cleared up overnight. Have not touched it since and my face has remained clear. My skin type is fair and dry. I've tried every product under the sun and my skin is tolerant of most ingredients, aside from niacinamide (which I don't believe is an ingredient in collagen hydrator), so I'm not sure what the problem was.

Honestly, I do not understand the good reviews
This product has a gel-like consistency. It was not hydrating at all and the wheat protein (another name for that is gluten) triggered sensitivity for me. I can use it on my body, but not on my face unfortunately. I most definitely prefer the PCA silkcoat balm (which is a cream) to this product by a long shot. I have found a surprising use for it as an eye makeup remover. It's actually excellent at dissolving waterproof eye makeup, better than most products I've tried. But for this price, I will probably continue to look for other eye makeup removers than repurchase.
