PCA Skin BPO 5% Cleanser eliminates acne-causing bacteria without the use of irritating surfactants that can damage and aggravate the skin. Its clarifying formula features a 5% concentration benzoyl peroxide to heal and prevent breakouts. Aloe, cucumber, nettle and chamomile extracts comfort and calm inflammation to leave the complexion looking clear, even and refreshed.
Apply a small amount of cleanser to damp skin with fingertips and massage into a light foaming lather. Wash in a gentle circular motion. Rinse with warm (not hot) water and pat dry. Start with one treatment daily or as directed by a physician.

Effective daily cleanser
This cleanser, when used once a day, has reduced my acne by 25-50%. It is gentle enough for daily use, but can be drying in the winter if used twice a day for my skin. There is no unpleasant smell. It is effective at washing away makeup so I prefer to use it in the evenings.

Seems to cleanse well but was too drying
Before buying this cleanser, I saw in the reviews that this product really worked for some people. It seems like a good quality cleanser, but I think because I use other products with drying effects (retin-a and Azelaic acid twice a week), this product was ultimately too drying for me. It even left my fingers feeling super dry after cleansing.

Good cleanser for acne prone skin
I've been using this cleanser for a few months now. This was my 1st time using benzoyl peroxide as I previously used salicylic acid cleansers, but the blemish control bar has been out of stock for months. It's decent, but I prefer salicylic acid over BPO.

I've only been using this for a few weeks but so far I love this wash. A little goes a long way! I find that my skin feels cleaner longer. I have sensitive skin but this product doesn't seem to irritate me at all. I use this product twice a day and really enjjoy it so far. Beware, it will bleach your towels and wash cloths, so be sure to wash with white when using this product.

This cleanser really works! It helps dry out your acne and deep cleanse your skin. If your skin is too sensitive, I wouldn't recommend. If you have frequent break-outs and need a cleanser that packs a punch, this is a great option for you. Honestly, I can't even use it every night or it will destroy my skin barrier and dry my skin out. I like to use it a couple nights a week to keep break-outs and acne at bay ( I consider my skin combination/acne prone). I suggest pairing this with a hydrating toner, serum, and very moisturizing cream. Would definitely repurchase just for how well it has tamed my adult acne!
