it absolutely works!
I have been using this for years! I started buying Paula's Choice products since they launched. This has been one of my staples (though lately I also alternate with her 1% because I have developed dermatitis and want something uber gentle.) This works! The ph is good for exfoliation and there is no fragrance. It comes in a nice, opaque bottle. I don't use a cotton pad. Instead I pour it into my palm and spread it with my fingertips. I give it a good hour to dry, though it doesn't take that long then I apply a moisturizer over it. It will clear your skin up and make your pores look smaller. This really is a great product. The price is reasonable because it can last about 3 months since I use it once a week. I really highly recommend it.

WOW I have never used a product this great
I just received this last night and decided to put some on before bed. My time of the month just ended so I had those lovely hormonal zits scattered about my face. To my shock and awe, I woke up this morning with a very noticeable improvement in my hormonal breakout and overall skin appearance. Now I understand the hype!
I've been hearing such great reviews for this BHA liquid for years and kept putting off trying it. I gave in after the sebaceous filaments on my chin seemed to become bumpier all of the sudden and couldn't find anything that would help. Looking for answers on the internet doesn't always lead to the best results but I found this mentioned several times for that problem and it works! My chin hasn't been this smooth in a long time! It's pricier than what I used in the past but this feels like using a toner as opposed to salicylic acid pads which are usually loaded with alcohol and end up making your face sting to high heaven. After using those pads I'd wake up to a red and raw painful face, so when I read that this wouldn't do that I was sold. Also overall after using this I have a nice glow, my face is smooth, and this helps any zits I have shrunk relatively fast. If you have large or blocked/bumpy pores and SFs like me then this will definitely help you, all without the sting. I use a mild retinol as well, so I try to use this every other night at the most right now, but I do have experience using AHAs and BHAs, so for beginners you may want to do it every two or more days in between using this. Non-irritating exfoliant
I use this in place of a toner during my nighttime routine. It is a little "sticky" so I'm not sure that it would work well for mornings/under makeup. It helps keep my breakouts at bay and provides exfoliation without irritation

Good product but icky feel
I like this exfoliant a lot. It shrinks acne, doesn't dry out my face, and minimizes pores. That being said, it has a weird greasy/alcohol type feeling that lingers on your fingers after applying with a cotton pad. So much so that you have to wash your hands with soap to get it off. Also, when you put moisturizer on top, it feels like it slides around on the film left by the toner. I haven't figured it a way around this yet, otherwise I would use it more often.

Changes in the first week!
I have always had an issue with large pores and acne scares. I bought this in a whim because I was hearing great reviews and I had points toward a purchase. I saw a difference in my pores in a week! Somewhat effective
Having endured a life-long struggle w oily skin, at this age my goal is smoother skin w clear pores and elimination of stubborn milia. I used Adapalene nightly for years, with some irritation/flaking. A year ago a dermatologist recommended a retinol 25%, but neither Skinmedica 25% nor PeterThomasRoth 1% had any effect other than causing minor breakouts. When I read the reviews of this product, I decided the reasonable price argued for experimentation. It has been somewhat more effective than the previous products, causing neither breakouts nor irritation. Currently I apply it 3 consecutive nights every week. Consistently on days 5, 6 & 7, I get some flaking which peaks on day 6, an annoyance but possibly necessary for exfoliation? I might try using it more often, as the milia near my chin remain, only very slightly improved. Overall, my skin is a bit smoother and less clogged, with no new bumps.
