Tried to Love It
So I had pretty good skin and would have a couple of red large breakouts on my face. I wanted to try something different and after reading reviews on this site and watching videos of people claiming this changed their skin, I bought it. First used it once a week to slowly get my skin used to it. Used it for almost three months before I quit. I had so many red breakouts on parts of my face I never broke out from. At first I thought it was just my skin purging but it would not stop. After I stopped using this my skin is finally back to normal. I really wanted to love this. It did however make my pores look tighter on the parts of my face it didn't breakout. Not worth it when a clay mask does the same thing without breaking me out. If you want to try this i would say get a small size first or try to return within the return window because now i have a large, pretty pricey bottle of a product i will never use again. i really hoped it would work and used it for three months so i cant even return it.

Reduced acne and pore size
My skin has noticeably improved since using this. It looks more even in tone, these annoying tiny whiteheads that I kept getting disappeared, and I think this has helped improved my skin texture a bit (I have large pores and a couple icepick scars) It doesn't feel like it absorbs/feels like it still sort of sits on your skin so I just leave it on at night. Definitely don't get this product in your eyes because it stings so make sure to rinse your face before showering/working out and sweating.

Target oiliness
This product is so gentle but effective at treating oiliness and reducing inflammation. It's gentle enough to use it twice a day but it keeps everything at bay over time you'll switch to once a day. It's not drying, has no fragrance and the ingredients are simple but powerful. Everyone who is oily or has acne needs this one.

So far so good
This chemical exfoliant is surprisingly gentle, even for someone with sensitive/reactive skin. After m building up a tolerance to it gradually over the course of a few weeks, I am able to use this every day without irritation. I was a little worried about the smell after noticing that mentioned in a lot of reviews, and while noticeable, it doesn't actually bother me. What I find more off-putting is the slightly tacky feeling it leaves on my skin. There has already been improvement to smoothness for sure, though no noticeable decrease in pore size yet. This is the first Paula's Choice product I have used and I am already understanding the hype behind this much-beloved brand. Looking forward to seeing where I am at with this BHA liquid in a few months' time!
