Good Toner
This does a good job helping clear my skin. I always see a bunch of gunk on the cotton pad, after cleaning my face. It is definitely adding a brightness to my complexion.

Give it time
Although at first I had major drying/flaking, I then realized it may have been because of the other actives I was just started to use in addition to this. This caused some drying/flaking, especially since I have dry skin. But eventually got used to it and my cotton pads always come out so dirty using this which shows it's working. Love the texture/the fact that it has green tea as well.

I hadn't read many reviews that went into detail about purging, so I thought I'd share my experience. I have oily skin and my biggest concern has been blackheads and enlarged pores. I started using this toner once a day at night, applied with a cotton round. I have to say that I am so glad that I started this during quarantine. My purging was SEVERE and so difficult to go through for someone who normally has very little acne. I had blackheads and whiteheads all over the places that I normally experience acne, all at once. I wanted to stop using this product so many times, but I wanted to give it at least 6 weeks for a fair try. I've read other reviews about people giving up on this after a month or so, and I think you need to give it longer if it is indeed purging that you are experiencing. After 6 weeks, my skin started calming down; existing blemishes healed quickly and there were significantly less new blemishes. I am happy with the results thus far, my skin looks visibly smoother and my pores look smaller. I have less/smaller blackheads and no whiteheads since my skin cleared from purging. So if you're thinking of quitting on this product because it caused breakouts; please look up symptoms of purging vs. inflammation! I wanted to give up on this so badly, but I am so glad that I stuck it out and eventually achieved the results that everyone else describes! The only other advice that I would give is that you should also incorporate hydrating products into your routine to compensate for the drying effect of the BHA. This helped heal and diminish the appearance of blemishes while I was purging.
