It's not bad!
It's a chemical exfoliant which I was a bit wary of...plus you're not supposed to rinse it off which made me a little nervous and the pay off isn't as obvious as some other physical exfoliants (no skin bits). I don't particularly like the scent but it's a liquid texture and must be used with cotton pads. It seems like an overall decent product for those who are into these kinds of exfoliants but not exactly the best product for me, I think.

Good exfoliant
It works great at exfoliating. I can see the dead skin on my cotton pad even after throughly Washing my face. I don't like the "oily" feeling it leaves behind. It does go away after a few minutes. I just wish it was faster. Overall a great toner for exfoliation.

It's okay, not magic
I researched and read reviews . I feel clean and nice while using it, the color and texture of my skin has definitely shown otherwise, my skin isn't as smooth as it use to be and I feel like it doesn't help with my buildup. It seems sticky and tacky and it's slow to absorb. It seems like a good product for some just not for me :)

Great for acne-prone skin
Like other reviewers have mentioned, upon application this does tend to leave a sticky residue that makes the skin feel oily and tacky. That's why I like to apply this at night, and by the morning my face is smooth, glowing and healthy. Avoid overusing this product if your skin is sensitive, as I ended up over-exfoliating making my skin more redness-prone. Otherwise, this product truly lives up to its reputation!

Not for Everyone, May work for You
Perhaps I didn't give this product a proper try but I just didn't like how my skin felt with use. I have come to realize my skin does better with a stronger alpha beta combination product. However, I gave this product to my boyfriend who is younger in his twenties and he seems to get a better result from the gentle exfoliation.

Nice chemical exfoliator option
I have hyper sensitive combo leaning dry skin with some hormonal chin acne issues, and just a general need for some weekly exfoliation. I didn't think a BHA product was for me but after looking at the ingredients and reviews...I decided to try it. Physical exfoliation is just too much for me, so chemical seemed the way to go. The first time I used this product I had ZERO irritation which is HUGE. A lot of products, especially exfoliators cause my skin to flare up and get red. This one didn't but using it too many times in a row on sensitive skin does cause a little redness, at least for me. I find that it does take a little building up if you're going to use it everyday but for me 2-3 times a week suffices with other gentle products. I try to let it dry down completely as it is a bit tacky/sticky but when I wake up the next day my skin does look noticeably smoother! So it seems really worth it to me. Also, I don't apply it on a cotton pad but actually put it in my palms and press it into my skin. Works a bit better for me that way. Definitely will repurchase and recommend! I have tried a few Paula's Choice products that were a no go for me...but this seems to be one of their top rated/most purchased for a good reason!
