Paula's Choice SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant boosts the skin's tone and texture to enhance a natural glow. Salicylic acid exfoliates and promotes faster cell regeneration to minimize the appearance of blemishes, redness, large pores and wrinkles. Green tea soothes inflammation and shields against free-radical damage.

Dispense approximately a dime-sized amount onto a cotton ball or pad and stroke over clean skin, including around the eyes (do not apply to eyelids or along the lower lash line). Cult Status for a Reason
This is so amazing for blackheads. Even though my skin is normal to dry, I had TONS of blackheads all over my forehead and cheeks. This helped get rid of them! So effective, and the formula is lightly hydrating instead of stripping like most BHAs. Make sure to only use this 3x a week, or 1-2x if you're sensitive/dry like me!

Fabulous substitute for retin a
I'm 56 and have skin that is getting dryer as I get older but I deal with milia and have dealt with bumpy textured skin. I see a dermatologist who has done extractions on the milia and recommended tretinoin which, after a year of use, actually made my milia worse along with drying my already dry skin out more. I tried Paula's Choice SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant and found it helped my milia and didn't dry out my skin. Forget tretinoin, this products works better for me. Also if I do get a breakout, one use of this reduces the severity significantly. I use this product as part of my night time routine and my skin is soft and glowing and smooth and my texture has disappeared.

Holy Grail Acid
I LOVE this product. This is the first acid exfoliant I've tried that has yet to give my skin a burning sensation when applied- and I have sensitive skin! I only use it a couple of times a week at night but have heard you can see more of the effects when used daily. But even using it a couple of times a week I have had fewer breakouts. Looking forward to continuing to use this and seeing it's full effects! Also it doesn't have a scent which is really nice.

The directions say you can use it up to twice daily but I personally think it's too strong for that. I use it every other night after toning and it seems to be working great.

Best SA - even for dry skin!
I have dry skin but do keep it well moisturized. I also use a retinoid and use this salicylic acid sometimes all over, or as a spot treatment. This product is basic in the best way - I don't experience irritation and it helps to exfoliate my skin as well.

Not for dry skin
I know this is a holy grail for so many people who have oily, acne prone skin, and those with blackheads. That is no longer my skin type as I have aged. I now have little to no acne, and skin on the normal to dry, and dehydrated side. I bought this product to minimize the size of my pores. I did not see a difference in the size of my pores, but then again I did not use it consistently enough to see if it works to minimize pores. Because of my sensitive skin type, the product did not work well for me and irritated my skin a little. I use it once in awhile to try to get rid of a pimple I might get or closed comedones on my forehead. But again I have not seen anything clear up. Just made me purge. So I have come to the conclusion it just does not work well with my skin type. Lactic acid (and a mild glycolic acid) works better for me as they are more gentle and more hydrating for sensitive dehydrated skin on the drier side. This probably would have worked well for me in my teens and twenties.
