Paula's Choice SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant boosts the skin's tone and texture to enhance a natural glow. Salicylic acid exfoliates and promotes faster cell regeneration to minimize the appearance of blemishes, redness, large pores and wrinkles. Green tea soothes inflammation and shields against free-radical damage.

- Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA, also known as Salicylic Acid): mimics the natural exfoliation process of younger skin by helping it shed extra layers while unclogging and clearing pores

Dispense approximately a dime-sized amount onto a cotton ball or pad and stroke over clean skin, including around the eyes (do not apply to eyelids or along the lower lash line). From a dermopharmacist and cosmetologist perspective I highly recommend this product for several reasons: 1) An essential part of your skincare routine since it removes residues and debris that are not removed by your regular face wash and prepares your skin to accept the remaining products(serum, etc..) for optimal results. 2) Contains a good amount of salicylic acid to exfoliate blackheads, whiteheads, minimize pores and clear out your skin over time. 3) Very gentle on the skin(I have combination/sensitive skin type) so it does not cause any irritations or burns. 4) Price is affordable for its size since it will last you at least 2 months if used daily.

I use this at night, a quick sweep over my face and my skin feels hydrated and can recuperate overnight. The directions say you can use this morning and night but I have sensitive skin and a 2 a day regimen is a bit much for me.
