Paula's Choice SKIN BALANCING Pore-Reducing Toner helps refresh and restore balance to your skin. Antioxidants, soothing plant extracts and niacinamide help tone down oily skin and minimize pore size making oily areas less noticeable and skin more even, smooth, moisturized and protected.

Did not work for me.
I feel like my face is a little bit burning (quite hot) and irritate whenever apply this toner on my face. Not just because I have sensitive skin, my two other sisters also feel the same.

I love this stuff
This is a really nice toner. It helps my other products absorb better and the ingredient list is wonderful. My skin feels soothed and balanced upon application. This can honestly be a tiny bit drying but if you apply moisturizer over it, it's not really a big deal.

Great for dry skin
I went through a bottle of this (it took a few months, probably) and wasn't sure what it was doing for me-until I ran out and decided not to buy any more. My skin became unusually dry when I stopped using it, especially at night, and I didn't change anything else I was doing. I have always liked Sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid and this product has both (some of my other products do too), plus I think the jojoba esters must have been more helpful than I realized as well. (I have dry skin and it sponges up all this stuff). Now I am going to have to get more. It was also a nice, watery emollient base on which to apply my vitamin C serum and retinol-that kind of stuff seems to go farther and be easier to apply if skin is wet. Completely unscented and I had no issues with sensitivity or breakouts. I did not notice however, any change in the appearance of my pores.

My Favorite Toner
Paula's Choice products, though a little pricey, have all been pretty great. I have pretty sensitive skin, and none of the products I've tried from the brand have broken me out. A lot of people think toner is unnecessary, but I've gotten so used to it that I can't seem to cut it out of my routine without feeling bad about it. I use this in the morning since I don't use a face wash in the morning. I sometimes sweat through the night so this gets all the grime off that water alone can't. I use this at night rarely or when I need a little moisture boost during the day. I have eczema and this gets rid of the flakes. I have oily skin and this does help "balance" it out a bit. It doesn't really have a scent which is nice. One thing about it I don't like is that it does require another resource (cotton pads) in order to use. I have repurchased it once already and would recommend it to others.

Sticky tacky feeling
I like the premise behind a toner and when I decided to use one, I had no doubt that Paula's Choice would be my best bet. I do think the toner itself is gentle and is safe for my sensitive skin, but the lingering sticky and tacky feeling can't be ignored. No doubt the glycerin in the product is the culprit. I'm sure there is a good reason for the glycerin, but it's a no go for me as I just can't bear the tactile feeling this toner leaves behind as well as the shine it leaves behind.
