Paula's Choice RESIST Perfectly Balanced Foaming Cleanser gently removes dirt, excess oil, makeup and other impurities without affecting skin's natural moisture or pH balance. Its nourishing formula strengthens the hydro-lipid barrier with ceramides and hyaluronic acid. Aloe vera soothes irritation and inflammation as arginine softens and conditions the skin with water-binding amino acids.

Gentle, effective

Great cleanser that doesn't dry skin
Usually, when you see 'foaming' in the name of a product you think it might dry out the skin or cause that squeaky clean feeling. This cleanser gets most of the day off (sunscreen and tinted moisturizer seriously melt off with this) and doesn't cause that tight feeling, I think it would work best for oily, normal or combo skin types.

Wonderful feel!
This cleanser has a wonderful creamy feel to it when you apply it. It lathers well and removes all my makeup including mascara. Be careful not to get it in your eyes though - I keep my eyes closed and rub the cleanser and warm water over my lashes and it removes the mascara completely, but stings if it gets into your eye. Overall it leaves my skin clean and never tight. Sometimes I feel like there might be some residue after rinsing, but that also may just be that it's not stripping my skin, and has humectants. It's a nice product!

This cleanser is PERFECT for a first cleanse. It takes off sunscreen and is extremely thorough without stripping the skin. It lathers perfectly without being too foamy. The ingredient list is great and includes ceramides to protect the skin barrier. Definitely recommend. And you cannot beat the price.

My new go to face wash
My new favorite face wash! Leaves your skin soft, smooth and hydrated. If you want to use this as a makeup remover I would recommend a double cleanse or using a wipe/micellar water to remove some of your makeup first. Doesn't strip your skin. It says "foaming" but it's more like a light lather, not really foamy but that's better for you skin anyways. Pleasant small and great value at $19 a bottle with great ingredients!
