No irritation/actual difference
Great product Just one pump at night, every night, a little goes a long way and can tell a big difference when I miss a few days. It is rough for the first week if you are new to retinol but now there's no sensitivity or irritation and I can use if daily

This is one of my new favorite products. I've been using it for about two months now. My skin looks smoother and more nourished. I was worried that it would irritate my skin, but this is so well-formulated that I'm able to use it nightly with no issues. The vitamin C and peptides seem to work overnight. The first time I used it, I woke up with smooth, glowing, and soothed skin. Over time the retinol has seemed to take effect and my discoloration from old acne scars and fine lines have really diminished. My skin is acne prone and I was previously using Differin gel, and worried that switching to PC's retinol would cause an issue. But I actually find this product to be more effective at keeping my acne at bay than the Differin gel. Love the product, love the price. It's definitely on my reorder list. I'm getting a lot of compliments on my skin lately, so I'm telling everyone about it!

I was using another prestige retinol but the price was too much. I've been using this for about a week and love it! My skin is used to retinoids, so I started using this for three days on, one day off. I haven't seen any major flaking, and any hormonal breakouts have gone away quickly. I have a few tiny comedones in my forehead and nose, but am chalking them up to hormones or purging. I'll update this review if they don't go away. But, so far, I'm pleased!

It's been years since I've used a retinol and decided to have another go at it. I generally like PC products so thought to give this one a try. Directions are specific to use only a pea size amount. Using once a week so far to ease into it and very minimal peeling/flaking so far.

Rock-star Retinol!
I really like this retinol product by Paula's Choice, it has great ingredients that help with all phases of repairing sun-damaged skin. Retinol to speed cell production, vitamin C to brighten skin tone and licorice to lighten sun spots. It is a light creamy texture and it absorbs in very well. I only need to use 1/2 pump of product. At 1% retinol, it packs a punch, so I used it every other night until I could tolerate it nightly but wow, my skin has really gotten clear and smooth! My menopausal acne along the jawline is also greatly reduced. I find my skin is so nice, I use much less foundation! All my friends and even my husband comments on how nice my skin looks!
