Niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3, helps to minimize the appearance of enlarged pores and brightens skin while licorice root and allantoin soothe sensitive skin and calm redness.

I have used this now for the better part of 2 years. I like this product because you can add it to a number of different products like moisturizers, and can use it night or day. Some of the products out there that contain nianacidamide aren't necessarily the ones I want to use so the stand alone product is great

One of my favorite products and a definite repurchase. It’s not irritating and gentle enough to be paired with other actives. It helps reduce dark spots and smooths fine lines as well. I like how light it is that you can easily mix it with other products or use it on its own without leaving your skin feeling greasy. A must have in any skincare arsenal.

Good and meh
The good: I have sensitive skin and mild rosacea and this did not irritate my skin at all, hooray! The meh: I didn't notice any big differences in my skin. This may because it's more of a long-term use sort of thing vs. something that is (for example) super hydrating so you can see noticeable differences. All in all I'd rather use my dollars for something that I know my skin really likes instead of this. If I win the lottery then I can splurge on things like this serum

I mainly bought this product to improve the visibility of my pores. However, I didn't not see much improvement on this front. However, the serum is light and easily absorbed.

Surprisingly so good
I was using another niacinamide product before this one that was over double the price. I like the feeling of this one mixed with my moisturizer so much more, and the price helps.

Jury is still out
It's very watery so I'm not sure how well it absorbs. Also too soon to tell if it's helping my redness after two weeks. I wonder if I'd get better use out of it during summertime when I struggle most with melasma and redness.

I like Paula's Choice brand due to its being well-researched, science-backed products. I don't want to invest my money into products that tout anecdotal data only, I need empirical data to rely on.
