This is a great formulation. I use this once or twice a day and love it. It is lightly moisturizing, has a thin lotion texture and is non-greasy. It is anti-inflammatory and helps to reduce the appearance of acne. It does not cause break-outs. It brightens skin tone and can visibly improve the evenness of skin texture. It has antimicrobial properties and does a great job at helping to reduce the look of blemishes . I like that I can apply this with my BHA, AHA, and retinol products without any irritations. It does not cause any stinging or dryness and I find it calms down any irritation from other products containing BHA/AHA. Would like to see it in a larger size tube.

One of my favorite products for acne
I've had really bad cystic acne for years. I have finally found a skincare routine that has actually helped clear my skin and keep it clear along with a prescription topical. This really helps keep my skin clear without irritating my skin. I can't use most salicylic acid cleansers / serums because they tend to really dry out my skin and aggravate it even more especially living in a very dry climate, but this product is gentle enough for daily use while also being extremely effective. I mix this in with my moisturizer nightly.

I find this azelaic acid booster works to reduce and slowly heal inflammation caused by rosacea. Interesting, because I have used a Rx azelaic acid cream In the past that wasn't effective at all. I use this cream on my nose and inner cheeks, and apply the cream mixed with a moisturizer to the rest of my face. Bonus: its texture makes a nice base for makeup. Be sure to use sunscreen. The jury is out on the overall skin brightening claim. Time will tell.
