Gentle but effective retinol!
I love this retinol. If I use it every day like the bottle says I get irritation, so I use it every 2-3 days. It has made my skin smooth and even and it is brighter. I have some hyperpigmentation that it has lightened up. The smell is a little odd but I don't mind it. It's sort of a vitamin smell. It's a watery serum texture that soaks right into my skin.

Not for me
I purchased this to mix with my serum & provide additional anti-aging. Unfortunately I didn't keep it long enough to see any results. It left my face very red, very oily & didn't layer well under make-up. Love Paula's Choice products, just not this one.

Great gentle retinol
On my 3rd bottle of this booster. I use 1 pump 4 nights a week after cleansing. Other nights I use a chemical exfoliant. Sometimes I apply alone but usually mix with the PC radiance serum. Give about 10 minutes to absorb then proceed with moisturizer. I have had no irritation. This provides slow and steady results which is exactly what I'm looking for. I think if I used this 2x a day or in same routine as exfoliating products as is suggested in directions it could cause irritation. I love the thin light texture and lack of silicones along with all the beneficial ingredients added. Bottle is tiny and would go very fast if used as instructed but lasts me a few months.

Disappointed and concerned
I have been using all the boosters from this line and her skincare for years ..this is the first time I got red bumps..and it smells bad..I can't tell if this is all normal but I have used even her clinical Retinol and I never had this reaction..this will be going back unless I can reach someone to discuss this..

Nice but not strong
There is not a whole lot to rave about for this product, but, it was nice while I had it. Didn't go back for a second bottle as it's not powerful enough to notice a huge difference.

It's OK. Not Effective for Me
I don't see a major difference applying this product. I will resort to Retin-A instead. Not potent enough. For those sensitive to Retin-A, they may consider using this product.
