Sadly, this product fell short from what it says it does.
I purchased this product after I purchased the shampoo from the same line. The shampoo is wonderful and I cannot stop raving about it. This treatment on the other hand, did not impress me. When I applied it the first time I saw more flakes than usual. So I skipped a week and applied it again the following week right after I had washed my hair and still felt my scalp dry and itchy. Had to return it.

This is my holy grail for my scalp!
My stylist turned me on to this treatment when I first went to her and I've never used ANYTHING that came even close to how well it calms my incredibly itchy scalp! I have major auto-immune issues that cause me to obtain new allergy issues if I've used certain meds more than a few times. An example is penicillin because it was prescribed to me every time I had my teeth cleaned. Now I break out in terrible hives that even Prednisone wouldn't help. Sulfites and sulfer drugs in shampoos and toothpastes gave me intolerable mouth ulcers and all shampoos made my scalp itch like I had a head full of lice! My mother had the same issue but I just assumed she didn't wash it enough! This product changed my life and I will never go without it! I wish it wasn't so pricey but I don't care because it is the ONLY thing that works. I use the entire Serene Scalp line and I can't imagine being without it!

Say hello to softness
I love this product. Heard a lot about the brand and wanted to try it for a long time and I finally got to with this product. I was getting a lot of itchiness in my scalp and thought why not try it. My hair feels so soft after using it. I apply it on damp hair after I shower. It does not weight your hair down (I have fine limpy hair) and makes it super soft to touch. Smells good too! Itchiness is gone. The price is high but give it a try - you wont regret it.

Necessary Evil with Hard Watee
