Oribe's Priming Lotion Leave-In Conditioning Detangler smooths and enhances manageability on all curly hair types. Dry, dull and frizzy locks are moisturized and conditioned with olive, avocado and jojoba oils. Soft and bouncy curls are fortified with a cuticle-sealing formula and primed for heat styling.

I wanted to hate this brand. It's so expensive! I've tried everything for my type 2/3 hair. It has gotten so long, dry, and all together unmanageable! I figured let me try this and the curl butter just to try ... How great could it be? It's freaking amazing. This is the second time this week using them and oh my goodness. It literally transformed my hair. When I wash my hair it is super knotty and dry. But this product, even after washing it out, left my hair soo soft! Not weighed down soft either! I'm so glad I tried it, I didn't know a product could actually improve the health of my hair. Ugh, now I am tempted to buy the shampoo and conditioner. There's goes my wallet! But honestly, I feel like I have salon quality hair from home. Can't really beat that!

Deep nourishment, but does not weigh hair down! I have mixed 3B and 3C curls, and very thick hair. For wash and go, my hair requires a very nourishing leave in cream, followed by a styling gel or mouse on top of the leave in. I usually love SheaMoisture products for cost effective leave in products, but this my new favorite amongst pricey options. I can splurge in this for the weekends and special occasions. It left my hair very soft and bouncy and a big plus is that my hair dried faster than with other leave ins (air dry, natural hair style) This is now number 1 on the list of high end leave ins for me.

I am obsessed with Oribe cosmetic line. I like to try new stuff. If I want to try a new product, I usually shop at Nordstrom because they let you try stuff and return it anytime. I find it surprising why many Oribe products contain Mica in their ingredient list. Mica ingredient will clog your pores and cause body acne and face acne. Never buy any product with Mica ingredient because it will clog your pores.

You will never buy anything else
I'm a 28 year old African-American female with relaxed hair (naturally it's very kinky/coily/afro). I don't heat style. After cleansing, I throw in four Dutch style braids, wrap my head in a silk scarf and go to bed. When I wake up, I take out the braids, "fluff" it to blend the sections and off I go. Very minimalist and time sensitive. When I received my Dermstore shipment of Oribe products - Priming Lotion, Curl Gelee and Styling Butter I was impressed by the beautiful boxes they came in (they're recycled from well managed forests and the writing is in vegetable ink); the bottles are beautiful too (you will want to keep and reuse); the smell is very pleasant, it's not over powering and nothing like you've smelled before. When I first applied it to my hair, I was NOT impressed, my hair didn't react like the lotion provided much "slip" like I would expect a detangling lotion to do. However, I was able to comb it through and continued to do my usual hair care regimen and went to bed. When I woke up the next morning and took down the braids, I had THE softest, shiniest, most defined curls I have ever had! I've used countless other brands in various forms (masques, treatments etc.) and while some have worked better than others, they've all left something to be desired. This stuff left nothing to be desired. My hair was perfect and ready for the day. No flakes, no residue, no crunch - just flawless, soft, BOUNCY, beachy curls. I'm hooked!
