This is stuff is great. I shampoo my hair every 2-3 days ( work in a hospital in a pandemic) Gentle cleansing for 50+color treated hair. Leaves it very soft . A small amount goes a long way . I used way to much the first couple of times . I alternate it with the Alchemy line .

Fabulous conditioning shampoo for curly hair!
Huge Oribe fan for years and so happy to have discovered this cleansing creme. Our stylist recommended it for my son who has a lot of thick curly hair. He's particular about what he uses in his hair especially now that he's a teen lacrosse player (sweaty guy, helmet, keeps hair length long). He's very active and showers 2-3x per day! We have this shampoo creme in stock and I've started to use it a few times a month too when I feel like my hair needs a break from shampoo.

As luxe as you'd expect from a brand like Oribe...
So far, so good. Have only used it a few times at time of writing so cannot speak to it's longterm benefits. I usually don't shampoo my hair (male - short, thick, wavy hair) if I can help it since my hair usually ends up dry and frizzy as a result. Instead I prefer to use only a conditioner every time I shower to keep it as soft and moisturized as possible. However I was concerned that I wasn't using a product in place of the shampoo that would actually clean my hair and scalp vs just using conditioner so this product got me with it's non-foaming "cleansing crème" pitch. I've used non-foaming formulas before and it's never been a satisfying tactile experience. However this product just felt great to massage in and you don't miss the foam at all. Even better, when washed out my hair didn't feel stripped & squeaky-clean like it normally feels with most shampoos. Instead it just felt CLEAN and fairly nourished as well. I still probably won't be using this every day but it's great to have in the shower as a shampoo replacement for when you need it.

You know that *other* co-wash (I'm looking at you devacurl)? This beats it by a mile. It's spensy, but all I use is a tiny little ribbon of it, and it's enough to get my hair completely detangled and feelin' good. I have fine, unruly, easily tangled mixed 3b/3c hair that goes past my shoulders. I don't use conditioner after I use this, and I've NEVER been able to do that with a co-wash. I can even get away with not using any product after rinsing my hair if I wanted to, but I usually toss in a bit of mousse or leave in conditioner. Either way I love this stuff! And because its Oribe it feels super luxurious and fancy every time I use it, and I definitely appreciate those little joys during this time.

I have fine hair that tangles and breaks easily. Not Good. I find that Oribe products have been helpful, especially with the moisture and tangle issues.

Course, Wavy or Curly Hair - This is the best!
I have thick, course hair, which used to get very dry. Since switching to this product more than 2 years ago, I no longer have any issues. Even in the summer when I swim a lot or in the winter with frequent workouts, my hair is soft and shiny.

I love it!
I've used another brand of cleansing conditioner product like this one before so I knew what I was getting into but this one is better. I don't do this everytime I wash my hair but maybe every other or if my (bleached) hair feels particularly dry. Don't plan on this being your only option just because sometimes after getting sweaty hair or using too much dry shampoo you'll need a real wash but it works super well and yes your hair is actually clean.
