Definitely have to work up to this % but has been very effective and doesn’t cause too much peeling if used sparingly. Lasts a long time! Worth it!

Excellent retinol!
I have tried a few different strengths and brands of retinol, but Obagi's is the absolute best do far. A little goes a long way, it's very concentrated . There is a bit of a sting, but even with my sensitive skin,it's bearable. I use it every other day .

This is a great Retinol product and provides me with all of the benefits of Retinol without massive drying or skin flaking/irritation. My skin is HIGHLY used to retinol products, so please keep that in mind. I am no beginner! For me, I found this to be effective and already repurchased it.

Gets the job done
I have been a long time retinol user and decided to try this one. It goes on smoothly and sinks into my skin quickly. It is a bit drying however for my mature skin. Adding a moisturizer has helped. So far, its lightened a dark spot on my face . I gave it 4 stars because of the initial smell when applying it. The smell does go away thought soon after it sinks into your skin.

Great, basic retinol that's affordable and not loaded with a lot of other ingredients, especially if you're using other skin care serums/creams/lotions. Only watch out: While the packaging is great for avoiding contamination (squeeze out of tube), it's not as convenient to use nor does it apply as easily over your face as a liquid retinol in a bottle with dropper
