High recommend for oily
I read almost reviews of this products but still concerned about it 😂 then again I check Dermstore and saw it, high review. One thing I did purchase from Dermstore because I trust it's authentic since many websites now sell fake one that might affect my skin. After using a week (every night), my skin looks glower when wake up. However, I guess my moisturizer is not enough to smooth skin. Therefore, skin was dry abit. So I used Obagi every 3 nights per week, combined with Avene aqual gel (also bought from Dermstore), I feel my skin is best now ☺️☺️☺️ So happy with that

I used many kinda retinol before like SkinCeuticals, Olay, The ordinary...my skin is oily skin anw. These products didn't work until Obagi retinol 1.0. It can be seen clearly, my friends said my skin looks glow and so nice for now. I used Obagi every night after Toner and Hydrating serum. To make it work well, pls wait until your skin feel dry, then apply retinol, and continuously wait til dry again, then last layer is moisturizer.

good beginner retinol
I liked this retinol in that it was gentle. I did experience slight irritation, but I was using it with a vitamin C serum in the morning and a once/week exfoliator, so all-in-all I'd say still very gentle. I used this for three months to help my skin get used to retinol, and have now moved on to a prescription strength. I may still continue to use on my neck though, because that area has a harder time recovering skin moisture.
