Did not apply evenly and made my lips look dry and flakey (even when they weren’t). Tried applying over a clear chapstick, which helped slightly but didn’t fully solve the issue. Definitely a big disappointment for the price

Obagi Medical Retinol
Obagi brand is my go to for Retinol. I've been using it for years, and wish I had started sooner. Started with the .5 and used until my skin adjusted to using Retinol. At first I had a lot of dryness, and flaking. Those issues went away with continued use. I then switched to the higher retinol dose, and have been a happy customer ever since! I use it every other night followed by a heavy moisturizer (my skin tends to be dry). Look at this ingredient list: Antioxidants, Hyaluronic Acid, Jojoba, Retinol, Shea Butter, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E....all good stuff we should be using our skin.

I have purchased this retinol several times because it doesn't irritate my skin and the price is reasonable. I have a little bit of milia under my eyes and this works well for clearing that up. The cream hasn't improved the hyperpigmentation on my cheeks, but I'm hoping that it is keeping the fine lines away.

This is a great retinol for anyone trying to introduce vitamin A to their skin care routine, it is gentle and non irritating when used correctly. I used this product for a while before moving up to Obagi's prescription tretinoin and it was very effective.
