Started using this over 6 months ago. Skin has been radiant ever since. I started with 1.0 off the bat since my skin was pretty use to harsh abrasive products from Rodan and Fields. Very happy w/ Dermstore. They offer nice sales/discounts. Fast/easy to place order. recd in timely manner. I LOVE Obagi line! Anything I have ever used of theirs is top notch. I only used the Retinol a few times so too soon to give real results. BUT - The tube the product comes in has issues. The hole the product squirts thru is SO SMALL it keeps getting clogged. I had to poke a pin thru the hole several times to try to open it up. Still had trouble getting product out! I squeezed the tube to try to get product out of hole & the bottom of tube opened up (split at seam) and a bunch of product oozed out! What a waste! Obagi is expensive :( Never should have happened. Now I have to keep what is left of the Retinol cream in a plastic zip top baggie so it doesnt dry out. PITA

Not what I wanted
I have early aging skin and milia. I was hoping this would help but instead it dried the rest of my skin out and it peeled (even doing spot treatment) and using just once every other week for a few weeks so I decided it was not for me. I can't be peeling when I have applied a fine layer for a week after.

Overall good so far
I have been using a 0.5 retinol cream from another brand but decided to try this one when I jumped to the 1.0. I am alternating it with Glycolix 20% pads. I do feel like I am seeing good results with clarity and texture. What I do not love so far is the delivery/pump. I keep thinking I must be doing something wrong or have not turned the dispenser part the right way. It just do not feel like it dispenses as easily as it should. I have not seen that mentioned in other reviews, so hopefully my bottle is okay.

ok - not as good as SkinMedica, IMO
I had been using SkinMedica 1% Retinol and loved everything about that but the price tag. I decided to switch over to Obagi since it is much more affordable and I'd heard great things about the brand. I used the full tube (it lasts awhile!) and didn't have a negative experience by any means - but I just felt my skin didn't show the same level of benefits as with SkinMedica.

I find it not greasy and it is easy to apply in the evening, after a serum. It dries quickly too. I like how this retinol has a high concentration of 1%. I just started using it, but I like it so far.
