Trouble with tube
I read another reviewer with same problem. The dispenser becomes clogged, and the actual product is coming out of the bottom of the tube!!!! So far, I haven't wasted too much of the product, but WORST packaging I've seen in 69 years! I think the product is good, although I don't know whether this is a consistent problem or not. I may not order another tube.

Wonderful Retinol!
I love this retinol. I have used others and they tend to really dry my skin out so that it flakes and looks awful. Even though this is a 1.0%, which is what I want and need, it delivers moisture and does not dry out my face. I loved it so much, I bought another tube the next week!

Best retinol
This is the only retinol that not really irritating my skin like other retinol. The others make my skin dry patch in one section like my jaw when its change new skin it looks more uneven and so itchy. But this retinol is gentle and mild irritation, first 2 weeks used every other day, now i use every night with no issue. After cleansing my face,i massage my face with only water then i can see the dead old skin slough off.

Bad Packaging
My rating is not about the effectiveness of the product, as I didn't get the chance to try this out properly. I opened the boxed tonight and tried squeezing the cream out of the tiny hole in the tube. Nothing came out, and I could tell the pressure was building up - it was either going to break the seam at the bottom (as others have had happen, and as I've had happen with different products from other brands), or it was going to break in some other way. I assumed I was squeezing the tube incorrectly and tried twisting or pushing the top in case maybe it was in a "locked" position. This seemed promising because the top did in fact turn. But as it happens, this was not the intended function and I ended up breaking the packaging. I can't get the cap back on to keep the cream from drying out. I've contacted customer service to see what can be done. Night one and I already had to contact customer service - which is not something I typically do but this product is expensive. Buyer beware - the packaging is frustrating and may result in product loss if broken. Hope Obagi rethinks that one aspect. I don't know if the hole needs to be bigger, or if it just needs to come in a glass bottle or what.

Live ants in the packaging and slow delivery
After a 2 week wait, I finally got my delivery. Opened it in the kitchen only to find both the packaging box, and inside the product box, filled with live ants. I was able to run outside with everything, but many escaped into my kitchen. I called customer service just to let them know and the agent sounded bored and ambivalent with my information. I will be looking for a company with better customer service. My review of the product itself is not valid - I have not tried it.

I love that this has the strongest retinol you can get without a prescription, as well as skin soothing ingredients to help calm the skin from such a powerful retinol. I have no regrets purchasing this product and will repurchase once I run out. For reference, I have rosacea and combination skin and use this 3 times weekly. I highly recommend it. I also love the packaging. This is a tube with a pump and it is ideal. One pump is all you need. A little goes a long way.
