Not new to Retinol but surprised at the strength of 1%!
It's too early for me to see results from this product, but compared to other products I've used with Retinol this is really strong. I have a feeling the other products have fooled me. I thought I would be used to the Retinol, but right now, I can only use it every other night. I am experiencing a little bit of dryness in my skin and flaking but I know I need to get used to the product. Looking forward to seeing how it works over time. Seems to be the real deal!

Best retinol on the market
I have been using Obagi retinol 1% for about 3 years. I have a sensitive skin and don't get any adverse reaction! I use it as a night cream alternating with Sunday Riley's Good Genes. I can't live without both and would highly recommend to anyone after 35.

Started out with the Obagi .5 and once finished went to this. I thought I was handling it well and started using every evening until I started peeling horribly! Had to go down to every other night. Goes on well, smooth. Slow progress but I know better skin wont happen over night.

Loving it so far
This is the first time I've ever used an Obagi product, and I'm impressed! I've been using it every other night for about three weeks, and although I have experienced a little redness and dryness, it's pretty minor and can be controlled by using a heavy moisturizer on the off nights. I can already see a difference in the texture of my skin, it is more even-toned, smoother, and pores are less noticeable. Looking forward to continued improvement over time. It's a little pricey, but reasonable compared to most of the other retinol products Dermstore carries. Will definitely repurchase!
