I enjoy using this product. It's not irritating and doesn't make my skin red. I recently started Tretinoin slowly and I use this on days I don't use Tretinoin. It has helped my skin. Also, has help adjust my skin to Tretinoin. Happily recommend.

Nice feeling retinol if you are used to using retinol
I started with this strength and it was too much for my skin and my skin was red and inflamed for a few days. I then purchased Obagi's retinol in .5 and have been using that a few times a week with no problems. I will resume using this 1.0 retinol when I finish the tube of the .5. You will definitely see results with this and it feels great going on.

I have used this with the Obagi Nuderm Blender #5 for a year and half and notice it definitely brightens my skin and the sun spots on my nose bridge are less noticeable. Nothing drastic with my wrinkles though.

Best Retinol Product!
I have tried many retinol products, with some being overly harsh and others being so gentle that I see no improvement after using them. Neither is the case with the Retinol 1.0 by Obagi. I have "mature" skin so I want to improve its appearance but without the drying and flaking that comes with many retinol products; this one actually does the trick. I do not use it every night but 3 -4 times a week and I always notice an improvement the morning after I use it. I will not be looking to try a different retinol since I am very pleased with this one.

Have been using product for about 2-3 weeks and can already tell it's working - dead/old skin gently flakes off and new skin underneath is fresh and glowing!
