Great, basic retinol that's affordable and not loaded with a lot of other ingredients, especially if you're using other skin care serums/creams/lotions. Only watch out: While the packaging is great for avoiding contamination (squeeze out of tube), it's not as convenient to use nor does it apply as easily over your face as a liquid retinol in a bottle with dropper

This stuff is great! I have tried many different kinds of retinol, but this one actually works right away. It does sting just a bit, but I believe that I used to much the first time. It's concentrated,so you don't need much at one time. It's definitely worth the price!

This product is very, very gentle. I could use it every night right from the start. It’s more like skinceuticals .3, not skinceuticals 1.0. So if you are looking for a formula to start, this is a good one. But you will eventually need to move to another brand with a stronger formulation.
