Obagi360 Retinol 0.5 is an ideal product to introduce your skin to retinol treatments. A lower concentration of 0.5% retinol boosts cell turnover to minimize acne, fine lines and wrinkles while diminishing hyperpigmentation. Hydrating jojoba oil and shea butter promote firmness and elasticity as vitamins C and E work synergistically to neutralize free radicals.
Once daily in the evening, apply a pearl-size amount to the face and gently smooth until absorbed.

Great starter retinol!
This is my first retinol product and while I haven't seen dramatic results, I do notice a little bit of pore refining and less breakouts. I've been using this a few nights a week for about 3 weeks. I am definitely a bit dry in the morning, even when I use it with a think moisturizer, but nothing that lasts past the morning. I'll definitely repurchase from Obagi but will get the stronger version next time.

I purchased this as they were out of what was recommended when I initially ordered. I just started using and it seems a little dryer than the product that I started with, but I was advised it was just as good. So i'll give it a chance an for a few months. I dont care for the smell though.

So Far No Results
I'm a first time Retinol user so I purchased the recommended .5%. Its been 2 weeks of using 2-3 times a week and I haven't noticed anything. No redness, no tingling... no difference in my skin yet, hence the 4 stars. I'll check back in a couple more weeks with an update. The product absorbs well and is pleasant.

Moisturizing Retinol
Since using Obagi Retinol .05, I've noticed my skin is softer, brighter and overall appearance of skin appears healthier. I use multiple retinols by various brands and love that this one has jojoba in it. It's certainly more moisturizing and less flaking than the other in my routine. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Terrible container
Ok Obagi, humor me. If I'm paying $50 for retinol, make me at least feel like it's a good splurge. The container is cheap looking and clogged up on day 3. I can't speak for how effective it is because I've only had it for a week, but I'm ready to go back to the old standby LaRoche Posay retinol. Obagi should be creme de la creme, but this is not.

Still getting there
I have heard a lot about Obagi's Retinol and decided to try it out. I'm using a pea-sized amount, mixing with my moisturizer for the first 2 weeks to minimize irritation. My skin feels fine and no break out. One day i decided just to apply retinol without mixing with moisturizer- definitely peeling a little (this is common for retinol). I'm liking it so far, hoping it will do my skin justice :D
