Obagi360 Retinol 0.5 is an ideal product to introduce your skin to retinol treatments. A lower concentration of 0.5% retinol boosts cell turnover to minimize acne, fine lines and wrinkles while diminishing hyperpigmentation. Hydrating jojoba oil and shea butter promote firmness and elasticity as vitamins C and E work synergistically to neutralize free radicals.
Once daily in the evening, apply a pearl-size amount to the face and gently smooth until absorbed.

Non irritating
I find that this retinol is non irritating and that I am able to use the .5 strength every day. I cannot say that I have noticed any improvements in my skin but that can take about 3 months to see that.

Lots of redness and peeling
I’ve used the product for three nights and my skin was never worse. It’s very red and peeling a lot. It says that the product can cause the irritated skin and some peeling but I didn’t expect this much. In addition, the tube was clogged after the first use. I had to squeeze it really hard to get the product out.

Good retinol to use. It doesn't cause me to get too dry as long as I only use it 2-3 times a week and exfoliate on other nights. I am getting good results from it and will continue to use.

Effective anti-aging product
I was recommended this by my dermatologist and had been using this strength of tretonin and skinceuticals before. I found this much less effective than those brands at this stength but more mild. I ended up using the 1% and found that strength is more effective for my skin but I have been impressed with how mild and not drying these products are!
