Obagi's Sun Shield Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 50 creates a barrier between your skin and the sun to keep it protected. Formulated to shield and protect your skin from environmental pollutants and sun damage, this tinted formula glides on smooth, covering mild imperfections. A blend of chemical and physical sunscreens thwart aging UVA and burning UVB rays from damaging your complexion, while antioxidant-rich extracts combat free radicals.

Great alternative to white version

Would not purchase again
For some reason this tinted sunscreen makes my face so itchy. I'm disappointed in this sunscreen. The tint is also very sheer. Hard to noticed a tint at all when applied. Would not recommend

Flaky, pilly, smelly
For some reason my skin chemistry cannot mesh with these Obagi sunscreens. I wanted to love them because the bottle is so pretty, but this and the non-tinted one both pill like crazy and smell terrible to me. Good hand sunscreen as it leaves zero oiliness.

Terrific all day long
Recommended by my dermatologist, since I am allergic to several ingredients commonly found in many sunscreens. Wow, I just returned from 6 days of heat and sweat at Disney World and Universal Studios where I applied a layer, being Caucasian, in the morning along with a bit of blush and felt good all day long plus was protected. Totally true that I did not have a white cast or residue.

I have used the obagi matte spf 50 sunscreen for years- it is phenomenal and so I decided to try the tinted version of the sunscreen. I have tried many tinted moisturizers but none matched my complexion and the texture was often sticky. I am fair but with rosacea. This one, in cool tone, matches perfectly. It goes on smoothly- not sticky, white or crumbly and seems to fade into my skin and has a fantastic matte finish. Couldnt be more pleased. I may start wearing this daily in place of my powder foundation! Try it!

Replaces Foundation
After having CO2 laser resurfacing two years ago, I needed to have a high SPF product that would not dry out my skin. I tried out several hundred dollars of products, and the Obagi Sun Shield has been the best! I'm blonde and fair, and the Cool tint is perfect for my skin tone. I use it alone daily-no moisturizer or foundation-for work, which really makes my morning make-up routine a snap. Sun Shield, blush, eye concealer, mascara, eye shadow, lip stick, out the door! I use a higher SPF product for sports, and I'll use other products for dressy occasions, but for work or day, this is excellent! I'm nearly 60, but I'll still have breakouts and have combination skin. Sun Shield does not make me break out :)

My favourite sunscreen
It was difficult for me to find a sunscreen that would not irritate my sensitive skin. Obagi sunscreen goes on smooth. My skin feels hydrated, supple and healthy. I love that this sunscreen has a little bit of color. I can skip on foundation now.
