New (terrible) formula???
I have been using this sunscreen for years and have always loved it for its high SPF and non-oily finish. I bought two more bottles in November of 2020 and they are both terrible. The lotion smells different and is extremely greasy. I have tried shaking it up to no avail. I am not sure if I got a bad batch or they changed the formula, but I will definitely NOT be using them. I'm bummed.

favorite mineral sunscreen
My skin is on the oiler side and this stuff is magic. It does not leave a white residue like other mineral sunscreen (zinc oxide) and it fully absorbs into the skin rather than sitting on the surface. I even wear this under my makeup in the place of moisturizer and it does not cause my makeup to separate. Favorite sunscreen hands down. I wish they would make a larger bottle.

Disappointed
I am prone to breakouts and have used this sunscreen for years with no problem and a nice matte finish to wear under makeup. They must have changed the formula however. My last purchase of this product is extremely greasy and shiny and makes any makeup on top run in just a few hours. I will not be buying this again.

Never breaks me out
I have hyperpigmentation, and I'm acne prone, and this is the only sunscreen that protects my skin from the sun, especially during summer, and doesn't break me out. I won't use another brand, probably ever.

Left Much To Be Desired
I am now at the age of thirty and have become rather obessed with anti-aging skincare so decided to invest in a good sunscreen with broad spectrum protection, but have not had the best of luck finding a product that does not cause irritation, leave a greasy or white residue on skin. This product was definitely an improvement compared to other sunscreens that I have tried, but for the price I was not impressed with its overall performance. First the pros: (1) matte finish, (2) high spf rating. Now the cons: (1) sticky feel on skin, (2) heavy feel, (3) left white residue on skin, which gave my skin a gray appearance, (4) Skin felt tight/dry throughout the day. I personally was not impressed with this product and unfornuately will not repurchase.

WOW is all I can say!
My search for the best sunscreen at a 'reasonable' price is over. Although this is in the $40+ range for a sunscreen, I think it's very reasonably priced compared to my all-time favorite sunscreen, the Zelens Daily Defense which retails for $85. Additionally, this sunscreen includes a larger amount of product (3 oz) than many sunscreens, which I enjoy. What makes this sunscreen so good? The texture immediately absorbs into my skin, and it doesn't "sit" on my sunscreens, like many sunscreens do. I hate to say "a little goes a long way" but for this product that is indeed the case - you will find that even with gently squeezing the bottle, a lot of product will come out, likely enough to cover a third of your face with a pea-sized amount of this cream. Speaking of cream, although this is a creamy consistency, it's very lightweight and almost instantly blends into skin, extremely non-greasy. This feels and sits on the face more like a gentle hydrating moisturizer than a heavy cream or traditional white paste sunscreen. I have oily skin but I do not believe this is too mattifying. In fact, it didn't dry my face out throughout the day by any means. Although I have oily skin, a prescription for tretinoin 0.1% has been making me peel insanely and drying out many parts of my skin. This is not worsening that dryness, nor does it cake up and pill on top of other sunscreen products, which for me was a concern with my previous sunscreen (PCA Skin Weightless Protection) because of the tendency to pill. This also served as a beautiful primer for make up, so if that is something you are concerned about in a sunscreen, this is perfect! Again, it is by no means terribly drying as the word 'matte' seems to indicate.

Favorite sunscreen for my face
I love this sunscreen. It adds to my moisturizer, absorbs quickly and never leaves me shiny. Even though it is a white cream, it only makes my complexion look brighter. Makeup goes over this smoothly, never streaky. I've been using this product for 6 months and am very happy, especially knowing it's also protecting me from sun exposure.

Best SPF you can buy!
I am as fair as they come with sensitive, combo skin. I'm religious about wearing sunscreen daily and find that I'm even better at following a regimen with good products. This is the least greasy high SPF sunscreen I've ever used and it's great in warm weather. I do find that when it's drier or colder, I need to use a separate moisturizer underneath or it's far too dry to smooth on evenly. I just brought this on a trip to Santorini. On the first day I was out in the blazing Greek sun for 5+ hours and forgot my hat and sunglasses. I was nervous that I'd get some color, but even though I didn't re-apply, it provided great protection! My olive-skinned husband who never burns was red on his nose and the back of his neck, underscoring just how strong the sun was. Perfect for any amount of sun exposure and will give me more than enough protection for both sunny island vacations and at home in the Northeast U.S.
