Worth a Try!
I am fairly new to using retinol products. I first tried the Drunk Elephant and had a horrendously itchy and peeling face after one use and it made me not want to try Retinol for awhile. Then I finally incorporated the Shani Darden retinol reform into my routine and had a good experience with it. However, even though my skin did not do worse with it, I did feel like I could be seeing more of an improvement after using it since May 2020. I had a consultation with Barefaced by Jordan Harper, NP and this is the retinol that they swear by to incorporate into your routine. I started off by using it every other night and have increased to once per night all over my face, neck, and up to my lash lines. My face is not peeling or red, but I do find myself itching my face a lot during the night and my skin is more dry during the day- so I've had to start getting even more serious about hydration. I use a facial oil followed by a thick moisturizer at night and a moisturizer followed by sunscreen during the day. I also use a hyaluronic acid serum prior as well. Even with the dryness and itching, I have noticed that my skin is looking a lot better! I'm finally starting to age backwards!

CAN'T FUNCTION WITHOUT THIS
I made this mistake of going a few months without Retivance, and it wreaked havoc on my skin. I have a hard time tolerating other retinol products and this is the only one I can use on a nightly basis. I love this stuff - it's like liquid gold!!!! Totally worth the price.

I bought this off the recommendation of Jordan Harper on IG. If she is raving about it and says its the best, I believe her. So far this has a fantastic texture, so silky and smooth. I haven't noticed any extra dryness in the morning and I personally can not wait for the long term effects (lightened dark spots and wrinkles) to happen. Thankful this product doesn't have added fragrance and parabens! Overall happy and would recommend!
