Obagi Professional-C Serum 20% infuses your skin with L-ascorbic acid, the only form of vitamin C suitable for topical application. Designed to penetrate deep into your skin, this vitamin C serum provides effective antioxidant protection from UV damage as it brightens away hyperpigmentation and encourages the growth of collagen and elastin fibers. Hyaluronic acid binds moisture to your skin to prevent dryness.
Apply 5 to 7 drops of Obagi Professional-C Serum to the face, neck and chest using fingertips. Apply to cleansed skin in the morning before sunscreen and makeup application. A slight tingling may occur in some people, which diminishes with continued use.

too harsh for my skin
I bought the C-Serum, the elastiderm eye cream and the Retinol cream from Obagi. I had used Vitamin C serums and retinol creams in the past so I did not think that I was going to have any problems. My skin has never been sensitive. I purchased Obagi as it has a really good reputation and I read fantastic reviews of the three products. Just a few days into using the products, I started experiencing an extreme skin irritation. My skin started peeling off, became very red and it was super sensitive. My eyes started getting puffy and swollen I had no idea what was happening so I started using the products one at the time to see which one was causing the reaction. I figured it that it was all of them so I ended up stopping their use. I switched to Revision for my eyes, Cerave Vitamin C serum and SkinMedica for REtinol and my skin has got a lot better. The irritation has stopped and my skin is a lot better. I did buy Obagi becasue of its reputation but this brand is not for me. I asked my dermatologist who agreed with me that these products are just too harsh. Will never buy them again.

I am using the 15% formulation
It's ok so far. The texture seems oilier than I expected, but it absorbs super quickly and works well under other skincare and makeup. I do not like the smell at all, but it goes away quickly. I'm a long time Vitamin C user, so it's tough to say whether this is working. I've maintained the results I was seeing with another product, but this product hasn't shown me any improvement yet.

Best product I've ever used
I've struggled with acne for YEARS and not just the occasional break out here and there, but like multiple breakouts each day that are painful, inflamed, and leave a ton of scarring (doesn't help that I used to pick at my face a lot). Anyway, I used to have a lot of texture and hyperpigmentation, plenty of scarring, and just dull and uneven skin. My esthetician recommended that I use this vitamin c specifically because of its consistency for my oily skin and its 20% concentration of vitamin c. After only a couple of weeks my skin improved DRASTICALLY. The texture of my skin began to soften, my skin was brighter and firmer; a lot of the scarring had gone away. Not to mention, when paired with a good SPF, that's when I saw the most improvement. I've tried other vitamin c products from other brands that weren't bad, but none of them gave me results like Obagi. 10/10 recommend.

Makes me glow like I've never seen before. Used it over the winter for the first time and never worried about looking too pale or worn out bc it just gives me that extra oomph. Just ordered a new one and I forgot how fresh a new batch is. By the time I had gotten to the end of my first bottle, the serum was much more yellow than when we started. I kept it in a cool cabinet but I guess you can't prevent the oxygen from getting to it when you open it up to put it on.
