Obagi Professional-C Serum 20% infuses your skin with L-ascorbic acid, the only form of vitamin C suitable for topical application. Designed to penetrate deep into your skin, this vitamin C serum provides effective antioxidant protection from UV damage as it brightens away hyperpigmentation and encourages the growth of collagen and elastin fibers. Hyaluronic acid binds moisture to your skin to prevent dryness.
Apply 5 to 7 drops of Obagi Professional-C Serum to the face, neck and chest using fingertips. Apply to cleansed skin in the morning before sunscreen and makeup application. A slight tingling may occur in some people, which diminishes with continued use.

Works wonders for brightening
I cannot live without this product! I started using the 15%, just to work my way up, and noticed a significant improvement in the brightness and texture of my skin in about 6 weeks. Since starting on the 20%, I've seen even more of an improvement. I use 2x daily, after toning and before SPF (or moisturizer at night).

Great for acne prone skin
I have tried other Vitamin-C products in the past which have caused me to breakout. I use this every morning on damp skin after cleansing, and sometimes in the evenings also if I have been out in the sun. I do notice brighter skin and have not had any issues with breakouts.

I am 37, Caucasian, fair complexion, sensitive skin. I have used prescription retinoids 3-4 days a week for approximately 18 months. They've helped significantly with wrinkles and overall texture. However, I still had sunspots. I was perplexed and thought the retinoids should help. I will say the serum is thick so it can cause breakouts if you're acne prone. I recommend some type of exfoliating treatment to keep pores clear.
