Obagi Professional-C Serum 20% infuses your skin with L-ascorbic acid, the only form of vitamin C suitable for topical application. Designed to penetrate deep into your skin, this vitamin C serum provides effective antioxidant protection from UV damage as it brightens away hyperpigmentation and encourages the growth of collagen and elastin fibers. Hyaluronic acid binds moisture to your skin to prevent dryness.
Apply 5 to 7 drops of Obagi Professional-C Serum to the face, neck and chest using fingertips. Apply to cleansed skin in the morning before sunscreen and makeup application. A slight tingling may occur in some people, which diminishes with continued use.

This Obagi professional C serum 20% is one of my favorites. It has a thicker consistency, more like oil, but it absorbs relatively quickly. I feel I can apply makeup within 10-15 minutes of putting the serum on. I have melasma and have been using since the day I got it in the mail. So far, it has reduced the appearance of my melasma on my forehead better than any other products have. I highly recommend it.

I've been using "vitamin C" serums for awhile now. My friend who is an aesthetician asked what I was using and told me they were all crap. The ingredients with this Vitamin C serum are on point. I've been using this product everyday for 1 week and can already see a brighter more youthful glow to my face. Although a little pricey, my friend told me if she were to pick only two products to spend your money on, that you needed to use a good vitamin C serum and a retinol.
