This exfoliating formula first sloughs off dead skin to refine skin's texture. Then leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes, as it infuses skin with botanical oils and vitamin C. Bought this product after hearing more about it through Jordan Harper. I've just finished three rounds of accutane and am trying to address scarring left over from struggling with cystic acne for years. I usually have oily combination skin but due to it being winter in the Midwest, my face is more dry than usual. I tried this for the first time a few days ago and it was VERY tingly and "spicy" as other reviewers have shared. It was honestly more irritating than I thought it'd be as it felt super itchy. It also created a lot of irritation and redness for 3 days around my mouth area. However, I do think it lightened a stubborn acne scar of mine. I'm looking forward to trying this again soon.
