This exfoliating formula first sloughs off dead skin to refine skin's texture. Then leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes, as it infuses skin with botanical oils and vitamin C. This two-in-one polish and mask leaves lackluster complexions with a soft and brighter finish.

I love Obagi products but this one fell short. WAY SHORT! It is an odd texture to start. After I applied, I waited...and waited...no tingling, no nothing. Then I went to take it off. Oh. My. Word. What. On. Earth. It was like trying to get thick vaseline off of my face. It was awful! It took forever to take this off. Maybe I received an expired or defective product, but whatever the case, this one unfortunately failed.

Brightening Exfoliate
I think this product is at brightening, taking the dry layer of skin off. I use high strength retinol and have not been able to perfect the amount of time and occasionally am left with red overly exfoliated spots. If I could figure this out I would give it 5 stars. It does what it says, it seems to lighten dark spots and is a powerful at home treatment. I cannot leave for even 5 minutes, so if you use retinol like me just be careful.

This mask does leave my skin more somewhat more glowing and radiant after use. However, it does give me a burning/tingling sensation if I leave it on for the full 10 to 15 minutes.
