I am floored at the results of this product. I've had minor discoloration on my upper lip from hormones, and was given a prescription cream from my dermatologist. It never worked. Then I got pregnant and got the dreaded pregnant mask, and even after I stopped nursing it didn't go away. I'm always wearing hats and spf 50 but it didn't matter. I tried the prescription cream again and a variety of serums and treatments - nothing out a dent in the discoloration. Until a few women suggested Obagi, and this is worth the money! I consulted with a local dermatologist that uses Obagi because I was concerned about starting this in the summer when I tend to be in the sun quite a bit. She suggested just using this at night and on the days I wouldn't be in the sun, so I was shocked to see the huge difference with just intermittent use. I realized upon ordering that I should have purchased the version for oily skin, as I do notice this feels a little "thick" on my face, but that's also Wisconsin summer humidity for you!

didnt work for me
I am an Asian female mid 40s who's suffered from dark spots for years. I've tried so many products on amazon, online etc.. finally I made an appointment to see a derm. She showed me before/after photos of other patient's who's used this system. The photos seems promising so I put the obagi system on my credit card. Sadly it did not work for me. I understand we're all different and certain things might affect us differently. I just wanted to say this system as expensive as it is did not work for me.

My skin is amazing!
My skin looks amazing. I have only been using this product for 3 weeks. Initially, there was redness and peeling, but this is to be expected. Once the peeling was done, my skin looks brighter. My brown spots aren't gone, but they are slowly fading. I receive chemical peels, but my coworker doesn't. So even after 3 weeks, she is still int he redness/peeling phase. Dont' get discouraged.....fresh, new skin is on it's way!! I use Retin-A every other day to help with wrinkles. These products work great together.

It took me a while to be willing to pay for this set..but I knew I had to try after seeing several friends who had. Within 3 weeks I noticed my pores around my nose were smaller and the skin texture had tightened. It gives a healthy glow that is really due to the skin changes. Happy so far!

I love that the products are numbered and come in the little zip up bag. everything is included. it just came a week ago and there's this horrible little demon of a zit that just sleeps in the middle of my forehead and once in awhile comes out like a big doorknob to the inferno whenever i need to look decent. well, it came up to the surface in a small way and it's close to gone. so far, so good. i'm really glad to have someone else choose products for me. i was so tired of trial and error. i even tried niacinamide, differin, charcoal, benzoyl peroxide, tea tree oil, salicylic acid, turmeric. Supplement-wise I was taking Ritual and it didn't seem to be helping (or hurting). I was so desperate I started drinking spearmint tea, bought sunday riley's good genes. i spent so much on serums from the ordinary. honestly, this stuff is good. i'm thrilled they included sunscreen too. i didn't like everybody's fave, anthelios, because it just felt oily on my skin. the sun shield broad spectrum doesn't feel as oily, so that's good.
