Favorite cleanser so far
My husband and I both have pretty dry skin and this cleanser is gentle and doesnt make our face feel super tight and dry after we wash it off... I have used this buy itself to take off my elta md sunscreen and some light makeup and it works for me. I do want to mention I always use a towel however so maybe that's what helps? I just rub the cleanser on my hands with a little bit of water( just put it on my face and THEN add a bit of water) and this helps it foam up a bit but it works better if you try to make bubbles with it while it's on your hands. This is just what I do. I know it's not what the instructions say exactly. And then i take a small face cloth and add warm water and put it over my face and gently take of anything that was on my face and it feels very clean. I don't ever have residue on my cotton pad when I use a toner afterwards( I also don't wear a lot of makeup though so I can't speak for this)

Wanted to like it...
I wanted to like this cleanser but was ultimately disappointed. It had a tart smell as if an ingredient in the product had gone bad. After about 2 weeks if using the product, my face started breaking out with little pimples and whiteheads. I then looked at the bottle and noticed the copyright year was 2018 and it's now 2020. No wonder the product smelled off. It's most likely old and expired.

Irritating and drying on sensitive skin
After three weeks of using this product, It dried my skin out so bad that I start getting irritation bumps on my cheeks. I do not recommend if you have sensitive skin has a lot of parabens in it that are irritating to sensitive skin.

My go-to post procedure
I use this after micro-needling. My Dr recommended it and it doesn't irritate my skin. I have also used it after a peel. Hardly any smell. I wish it didn't have a cap to mess with, maybe a squeeze bottle

Good Cleanser
I was introduced to Obagi products through a local Spa. I am very pleased with the Obagi selections. This is a good cleanser. I would recommend it. However, I do believe the Olay cleansers are just as good for less money. My Olay cleanser is a foaming cleanser. I know some people do not like foaming cleansers, if so, this Obagi cleanser would be better for you.

Best cleanser
I have hormonal acne + oily skin and this is the only cleanser I've used for the past year and a half in combination with other obagi products and my skin has never looked better. Breakouts are definitely less frequent and oil is kept under control.
