The best foaming gel ever
A little goes a long way. You don't need to use much. It cleans very well and leave your entire face feeling refresh without dryness. I have been using this product for more than a year, and I am happy with it.

The Obagi Nu-Derm Foaming Gel is the best thing that has ever happened to my skin. I have used almost everything on the market from savvy department store counters to over the counter products at drugstores. I have oily, sensitive acneic skin. My aesthetician started me on the Obagi professional product line in December of 2006 and two years and two months later I am still pleased and I still get compliments on my skin. The foaming gel leaves my skin soft, smooth and I don't secrete oil excessively as I once did with other products. I love the product and I will continue to use it.

Soft smooth skin
I have very sensitive skin and I used the Obagi Gentle Cleanser which was doing a great job.. less redness, skin felt great but my skin is somewhat oily.. so I decided to try the Foaming Gel. I was sooo surprised, it does not dry out my skin and the gel feels great..my skin is less oily but still smooth and soft. I had feared that the cleanser for oily skin would be too harsh but it isn't harsh at all. I love the feel of my skin.

I LOVE THIS FACE WASH!!!!
I waited to write this review because I wanted to test the Obagi Nu-Derm Foaming Gel's effectiveness over at least a month. And now, after a month, I am pleased to report that I am absolutely IN LOVE with this face wash and really, really, really wish I had tried it out sooner. I've used Retin-A/Micro Retin-A for at least 10 years of my life. As you can imagine, my face had become extremely sensitive, red and flushed and a weird combination of oily + dry. I also suffer from minor break-outs (I wouldn't say I have full blown acne but, I do break out around my chin area quite a bit, occasionally on my cheeks and forehead but, very slightly). Anyhow, I had no idea how I was going to combat these break outs, balance the oiliness of my skin, hydrate my skin AND manage how sensitive my skin had become from using Retin-A. Obagi Nu-Derm Foaming Gel is THE MOST gentle and effective face wash I've ever used, hands down. No contest. It gently cleanses my skin, my skin is NO LONGER RED and I seem to be breaking out less. I am using the Foaming Gel, the Toner, the Exfoderm Forte + SunGuard SPF 30. Overall, my skin is softer, smoother and has less breakouts (at first, I broke out a lot more - I knew I had to wait it out before I saw improvement). I highly recommend the foaming gel. If you're afraid to try all these Obagi products at once, I'd recommend doing it step by step - try the foaming gel, then add the toner, then add the SunGuard, THEN test the Exfoderm Forte on just one area for at least 30 days.

Leaves your face feeling super clean
I love love LOVE this face wash! I am in my 40's and still have combination skin. Obagi foaming gel makes my T zone feel exceptionally clean but,at the same time, it does not make the rest of my face feel super dry. And, in the winter, when my face tends to get a little drier than usual, I just use a small amount of Obagi Action.
