Currently on my second bottle of Clear. I use it through the the fall and winter to remove -and it does remove-the darkened melasma skin. Take note that it takes about three weeks of nightly use before the brown spots actually start to go away. Nothing is over night with skin issues.

Part of my Obagi program
I’m sure it’s best to use a hydroquinone-free product. I still have some brown spots that I cover with concealed, but overall this product helps to keep dark spots away. I also use other products in the line - they are numbered and designated AM or PM so very easy to manage. I also use the Obagi retinol, night cream and a new product Revitavance.

Dry and congested
Very few products have ruined my skin so quickly. I was pretty happy with my regimen but had some increasing pigmentation on my cheeks. This is unpleasantly thick and pasty, and extremely drying even for my oily acne-prone skin. I expected some slight increase in brightness from the lactic acid at least, but instead my skin looked dull and dry and flaking, my pores were clogged with dried-out sebum, a couple of painful red early pimples were brewing after just 1 use. I did use moisturizer after applying but it seemed to make no difference. It looked as if I hadn't moisturized at all. It took me days of my old regimen to clear the congested pores and restore proper moisture balance.
