Stale Expired product
Have used Obagi hydrate for years. The bottle I received has its seal tape opened. Product turned completely yellow & smelled musky and stale. Someone at dermstore inventory needs to keep better track on shelf life. Sadly returning. Will try fresher stock elsewhere from now on.

This is a really good basic moisturizer, especially to use with a retinol. It doesn't have any bells and whistles, which is what you would want to pair with a retinol. No noticeable fragrance.

Best Moisturizer
I currently am trying to get this hyperpigmentation off my face (sun damage in my younger years) it's very drying to my skin as I am using retinal by obagi as well as the step 3 clear of the Nu-Derm line by obagi.. this moisturizer works miracles! All I need is a small amount and it works the best. I have spent over the years over $150 on a "so called" good moisturizer and nothing stands a chance next to how this leaves my skin. I don't even need a make up primer when I use their moisturizer. It's not heavy or greasy and a little goes a long way! You will NOT be disappointed by this moisturizer at all.. the best! Don't even waste your time on anything else :)

Not for very dry skin
It's a very nice product. However, I have very dry skin and it feels not moisturizing enough for me. Very dry skin should consider Hydrate Luxe of this brand.
