Use once a day or as directed by your physician. Clean the skin thoroughly before applying. Pump product 1 time onto fingertip and apply evenly to entire face, avoiding the eyes, nose and mouth. Allow Therapeutic Lotion to absorb completely before applying Therapeutic Moisturizer. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with 1 application per day. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to every other day. If going outside, use a sunscreen: Allow Obagi CLENZIderm M.D. Therapeutic Lotion to dry, then follow directions in the sunscreen labeling.

It works, BUT be careful
I liked that this product works a lot faster on acne for prevention and for clearing it up than salicylic acid 2% products. BUT, be very careful putting it on super thin skin like neck area. I had some really bad breakouts on my neck and jawline. I was being very cautious since I haven't used 5% before so I applied this lotion over my moisturized skin. I still felt the tingle so I knew it was working. I was only using this product once a day since it was very drying for me. I noticed after 3 days that my neck was really red almost burnt raised skin so I stopped using this. Also, the skin got itchy. I've re-applied this product since using a Q-tip so I don't spread it around unaffected areas. It works on getting those systic acne 'ripe' quickly.

Only thing to clear up my skin!
This is the only product that has helped to clear my skin. It goes deep into your pores and really help to prevent breakouts. Except for an occasional blemish on my chin due to hormones, I have clear skin for the first time since puberty. It is going to be drying because of the power of this product, so just make sure you use moisturizer.
