Use once a day or as directed by your physician. Clean the skin thoroughly before applying. Pump product 1 time onto fingertip and apply evenly to entire face, avoiding the eyes, nose and mouth. Allow Therapeutic Lotion to absorb completely before applying Therapeutic Moisturizer. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with 1 application per day. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to every other day. If going outside, use a sunscreen: Allow Obagi CLENZIderm M.D. Therapeutic Lotion to dry, then follow directions in the sunscreen labeling.

Not my favorite product

Very Disappointed
I love Obagi products, but this one is just "so so". The consistency of the lotion is quite thin and was not effective in clearing breakouts or reducing my oiliness. This product is way overpriced with subpar results. Will not purchase again.

So far so good
I haven't used this product long enough to give an accurate evaluation yet. I'm just using it as a nighttime routine because I always make the mistake of jumping in with both feet and then my face explodes!!!! So I've only used this 3 nights and I haven't had a breakout yet, but everything breaks me out so I'm not really holding my breath. I will update my review after I have used this longer and hopefully it will be a 5 star review!

this product got rid of my cystic acne and I feel so much more confident now! I have always hated wearing makeup but felt like I had to because my acne was so bad, for the past year I've been using this product and i am so happy that i haven't had to wear makeup at all! some tips though... 1. invest in a great moisturizer (i used the CLENZIderm M.D. Therapeutic Lotion every night so every morning my skin is a bit dry, it helps a lot if i use a really nice light weight lotion to help rejuvenate my skin) 2. use it at night! 3. you don't need the rest of the products that go with this lotion, i just recommend that you get a drug store toner and a good lotion to pair it with. 4. keep consistent with using it and you'll notice a difference in just a couple days!

Gentler than expected
The lotion absorbs very quickly and doesn't leave any residue or oily feeling. It doesn't burn or sting once applied and hasn't irritated my skin. I expected to experience some dryness due to the 5% Benzoyl Peroxide, but it has not dried out my skin at all! It is already helping my breakouts, so I definitely recommend it!

Amazing even on my sensitive skin

LOVE this product!
I use this after I cleanse my face with Obagi cleanziderm face wash and use the toner. This lotion does dry out my skin a bit if I use it morning and night. I have naturally oily skin. I wait for it to dry and then apply a very thin layer of Obagi moisturizer. By using all three products, my adult acne has completely cleared! To give you an example on how bad my skin was, I took Accutane twice (once as a teen and early last year at 36 years old). After I completed Accutane, my skin remained clear for about 3 months, then I got bad acne again! UGH! I tried the clenziderm system based on my friend's recommendation. I am so happy I did. This stuff works!!
