Clean skin thoroughly before applying medication. Moisten a cotton ball with the Obagi CLENZIderm M.D. Pore Therapy and smooth the cotton ball over your face. Use AM and PM. Allow to dry. If bothersome drying occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.

Very drying
If you have acne prone, sensitive skin, use this once / twice a week before trying it daily. This product is very very drying but works on the longer term.

Obsessed!
I borderline get anxious when I don't have this in my bathroom. I have acne-prone skin and it works wonders for my pores. It makes them smaller for the day and really clears everything out. it does have a cooling effect which I LOVE. Some people don't like that feeling and I understand, but with this, it feels really clean and soothing at the same time.

The toner that cleared my acne!
I love the obagi-clenziderm line for my evening routine. I have combination, acne-prone, mature skin. This toner is intense and has significantly changed my acne prone skin. I use it at night, as in the morning I use the obagi-c line. It has a bit of a sting and you can feel it working. If I have a pimple, it usually dries it up overnight and makes it significantly less visible. I use this in combination with the clenziderm treatment lotion and my skin has never been this clear!

Love but wear sunscreen
I absolutely LOVE this product, but I didn't read or pay attention to the potential of sun sensitivity. Trust me - wear sunscreen if you plan to be in the sun. Severe burns on my nose after a day in the sun on a boat. The reflection from the water and lack of sunscreen on my face left me with burns/blisters on my nose like I've never seen before. Won't stop using this product - but I will always remember to follow-up with sunscreen if planning to be outside.

The best
Not sure exactly what it is with this- but for me, nothing works as well. I’ve tried to compare high-end as well as drugstore brands and always come back to this. I’m 40 with occasional hormonal acne and early signs of aging, and this works to smooth, refine, and clear out pores without irritation or peeling. I can’t go without it. Have been using for over 5 years and it works. Also works well for my teenager!

Acne/clogged pores solution
This has to be one of the best acne/clogged pores solutions I have ever tried. Even though at times this product feels super strong, make sure you do not have broken skin, or irritated skin before trying. Due to mask-wearing, I had a horrible episode of acne along my chin, with regular use, 1-2 times a week, this product helps me clear my clogged pores and acne. This product is best used after cleansing, with a cotton pad, and avoid using any other acids along with this. A soothing routine would help if you encounter any irritation!

Why the Menthol?
This product is effective but I do not like the menthol. I do not know why they put it in? But it works great. I alternate my nights- depending on my skin: I use retinol with lightning cream one night, if my skin is dry I wait and then the following night I'll use this. I do not mix- Do not mix your retinol with this! I also use this on my chest area, it's great!
