Super therapeutic!
No idea if this snazzy device is actually doing any "lifting", but it it's a nice thought that I'm increasing circulation in my face and hopefully my products are really sinking into my skin. I do this while watching tv and actually look forward to it at night. It feels really good and it's oddly relaxing. Plus, I'm a sucker for packaging and this is quite pretty on my nightstand.

Self Care Routine
Does it work, is it placebo, I am not sure but it does feel nice. It forces me to relax & focus on self care which is positive & comes with benefits. Taking a few minutes to use the tool I relax & tune in to what I need. It feels nice & is certainly not hurting anything by giving it a try. I think there is something to this but it is not a magic stick.

One of my favorite purchases- I've been loving it for a whole year!
I have had the Nurse Jamie Instant UpLift for a whole year now and I still love it as much as I did when I first received it. I feel like you definitely need to use it consistently to see the best results as with most things but even using it every now and then it's a really nice tool. I keep my Nurse Jamie Instant UpLift in the freezer in in a ziplock bag. I santitize it often with a cotton pad that is damp with rubbing alcohol... I don't pour rubbing alcohol directly on the tool. I looked online for cleansing information and found somewhere that said not to soak the tool itself with anything. I'll let the tool sit out for a couple minutes to "dry" but it's pretty much instantly dry because the cotton pad is only damp, not soaked. What I like most about this tool (besides how heavenly the massage feels) is how versatile it is. I have used this before cleansing my face, after cleansing my face, before applying makeup, to work serums in, on top of sheet masks (for the whole 30 minutes I keep the mask on!), and after removing sheet masks to soak in all of that extra goodness that's leftover. I do prefer to use the tool with some sort of product vs just dry on my face but that's only because I feel like it rolls a lot easier with a little lubrication. My esthetician also said she prefers I use it with a product vs dry. I use this tool ALL over my face and sometimes on my body too. Forehead, neck, lips, chest, arms... everywhere! I feel like right after using this tool my skincare products soak in a lot nicer and my skin does look plump. After using this consistently for about a month my esthetician asked me what I was doing different. According to her my skin looked a lot smoother. I think this tool is worth the splurge. It's not a miracle maker by any means and it won't save your skin on it's own but it's a nice little product to have in your skincare routine. *The MOST important thing is to always remember to roll UP- and be gentle! Do not tug or pull on the skin. You can find plenty of videos on YouTube showing you how to use this properly.*

This is an amazing roller! The stones on the roller are cold which gives my face a nice refreshed feeling . It seems to depuff my under eye area and also helps contour jawline. I definitely notice the difference every time I use it.

the stone fell off, dermstore wouldn't replace
One of the stones fell off right after the 90 day return period. While I understand, you can only return within 90 days, I only used this a handful of times. For one stone to fall off when there aren't that many, is disappointing. Dermstore cusotomer service wouldn't help. I contact the manufacturer, but they didn't do anything either. I maybe used this 10 times, and the stone fell off. To spend so much money with dermstore but have them not care about the quality of their items was disappointing. I'm now switching to buying my skincare items at sephora since they have great customer service. I'm buying my sunday riley good genes, and lamer cream + others through them so I guess it is dermstore's loss that they won't get my repeat business because of a $69 malfunctioning product.

Skin reaction and didn't work
I regret the moment I decided to order this product. Saw on a home shopping channel and found best price here. When I started using it I noticed the skin turning reddish but thought it was simply the increased blood supply. WRONG - it triggered a full blown rosacea like issue. Face turned blood red, upper eye lids turned red inner rim of lower lid and swollen. Apparently this tool triggered the issue and resulted in constant swollen red face, eyes and due to the irritation from the metal caused my eye glands to start blocking. Derm tried me on rosacea cream and it didn't work at all, had to go to the eye doctor and all sorts of medication to attempt to help with the eye situation. I am still in the process of recovering from all the effects of this tool. I strongly suggest everyone be very careful using anything that is metal on the face and especially around the eye area. Wish I had never purchased this

Gave me hives
I used this roller for two days before my face & neck broke out into hives, likely due to a nickel allergy. Nowhere on the dermstore website is nickel listed as an ingredient, just the tourmaline stones. It was only after i read the user guide that it warns of possible metal allergies.

I bought this with hopes it would have more of an effect on my facial contour, however have not seen a significant result. Maybe if you used it more often there would be a more dramatic difference?
