Clarifying
Does a nice job giving you a good clean without being harsh and abrasive. Typically don't use this in the Winter time though, I use a moisturizing cleanser instead. But this cleanser is perfect for warmer seasons when you sweat more.

Exfoliating but not cleaning.
It has minimal exfoliation and still leaves my skin feeling dirty. I really don't like it. I would rather exfoliate with clean and dry skin. The foaming also makes it hard to know if you are using enough or not.
